Siesta Labs is a Part of Innovation at UKEN
Empowering Local Communities Through Sustainable Energy Solutions
Why Community Energy
Community energy is a fresh approach to the energy sector, focusing on involving local people and small communities in energy projects. It helps develop renewable energy sources and improve energy efficiency, which have been important topics for many years.By building shared energy sources like wind or solar, communities can access cheaper electricity.
Starting July 1, 2024, the Electroenergetic Data Center (EDC) will begin operations in a transitional mode. The comprehensive launch of the EDC is expected in 2027. The EDC will facilitate electricity sharing for energy communities and active customers.
Our Partnership with UKEN
UKEN helps communities in the Czech Republic become more energy independent and sustainable. They use modern technology to make energy sharing, efficiency, and data management better and easier.
Siesta Labs is a proud member of UKEN, working together to make energy sharing simpler and more accessible. Our collaboration focuses on creating sustainable solutions using cutting-edge digital tools.
Mikoláš Belec, founder and CEO of Siesta Labs, serves as a technical consultant for UKEN and has contributed to designing how the data center can operate, drawing inspiration from proven solutions in Denmark and Austria. The design streamlines operations, provides clear energy data, and supports new ideas with open tools.
